BATTLE OF THE BANDS (RAKRAKAN NA!! with Councilor Apostol) February 10, 2013, 7P.M.

• Open to all amateur bands
• Must consist of 4-7 members (any gender), ages 18 above
• Must perform 2 song piece of different genre and 1 original composition.
• Band Equipments such as 1 drum set, 1 lead guitar, 1 rhythm guitar, 1 keyboard and 3 microphones. Personal guitars during the presentation are accepted.
• MUST NOT CONSIST OF FOUL LYRICS OR ANY OTHER NEGATIVE IMPLICATIONS/MESSAGES. Failure to comply will result to disqualification.
• The use of pyrotechnic gadget, smoke or combustible materials as propr are not allowed. Failure to comply will result to disqualification.
• Group must fill-up application form.

GALAW-GALAW MODERN DANCE Contest (FEB.8,2013 7:00P.M.)

• Open to all amateur dance groups
• 8 -15 members (any gender) and each member must be must be 15 to 20 years old
• The group is allowed to dance any song with a maximum of 6 minutes running. The song must not have foul words, promotion of violence and the like. FAILURE TO FOLLOW WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.
• Dance presentation must not have negative implications such as violence, sexual connotation or others thru portrayals with the steps. FAILURE TO FOLLOW WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.
• The use of props will be allowed, provided that the materials used will not post any harm on any of the participants, organizers and/or audience members. (No flammable materials).
• THIS DANCE CONTEST DOES NOT HAVE A REGISTRATION FEE OR ANY OTHER PAYMENT.
• Along with the registration form is the submission of the following:
• Photocopy of birth certificate of each member.
• Barangay certification for each member (barangay certification for the whole group is accepted if members enlisted are with same residency).
• Must submit registration form before February 8, 2013, 5:00P.M. with the CD for the song and with track number.
• Judges final decisions are irrevocable.

All participants shall assume all risk by signing this General Release Form and agree to the statement below.

In consideration of receiving permission to participate in the GALAW-GALAW MODERN DANCE Contest, I hereby release the volunteer organizers of this Dance Contest, and all its sponsors and employees from all liability for any personal injury, death or damage of any kind arising from or related to my participation in the GALAW-GALAW MODERN DANCE Contest. 
I understand that by signing this release and waiver, I am giving up the right for myself and/or my family or heirs to sue the Buhangin Barangay Council, and its employee, sponsors and volunteer members for injuries resulting from participation in the GALAW-GALAW MODERN DANCE Contest. 
I agree to abide by all RULES and REGULATIONS governing Dance Contest which includes any disciplinary measures, fines or suspensions levied by the GALAW-GALAW MODERN DANCE Contest.  I understand that the league has a zero tolerance for fighting and further understand that if I should engage in a verbal or physical altercation, I will be immediately suspended for the remainder of the event.
