Plain (Shindler's list)

Schindler’s List is a very good film. It is heart touching and event moving film. Though the reality, those certain events during World War I was really happening. I could not touch the story, aside from it is a fact, it was really good and a part of Alekzandra’s List. The movie was grey scaled, monotonous and, cinematography speaking, lifeless.
It was noticeable that the only color existed in the film was the red coat wore by a little girl. All the rest of the part of the film is grey scaled. And the color speaks of what is happening in the movie. Most of the scenes were killing, since the time is war. But it is beyond war. There is a mistreating of humans specifically speaking racism. The Jews were treated less like humans or even animals. They were insects for the Nazi.
Even the children who were innocent and young, like the red coat of the girl, turned grey and burned. The children with their existence as a children were not an escape for them to be left behind. They were killed not by accidents but by people five or more times more mature and knowingly than they were.
Aside from it is black and white, it is monotonous. How can you deliver a story of death and human maltreating in an effective way? Monotonous. The movie was effective on this. There is death so let it be black and quiet. There is death so let it be simple but effective.
If you are looking for a movie with action, drama, a little touches of comedy and a true to life story, Schindler’s List is that movie. But you wouldn’t notice that if you are expecting life, more life and full of life. Thru all this characteristic of the movie, the message was conveyed.
The movie Schindler’s List, talking about a hero from the villains, is really a movie worth watching. A wake-up call for the society, who would like to settle for war, is one of the messages of this character-driven film. At the end of the day, it made me realize how lucky I was to be able to live during this present era rather than World War I.
